Chari S. Mullen

Chari Mullen is currently the Managing Director of Momma’s House Community Development Center, Inc., and Guardian Ad Litem for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children).  Prior to founding Momma’s House, she held a variety of positions at Tiffin University contributing over a decade of service: Director of Football Operations, Assistant Director of Graduate Student Services, Director of Northwest Ohio Academic Centers, Success Coach, and Administrative Assistant.  Additionally, she has served as an adjunct instructor at Tiffin University and taught courses in Organizational Behavior and Organizational Management.

 

She has a passion for administration, advocacy, and helping youth develop strong moral and performance character along with leadership qualities.  Chari has served on the NCAA-NACWAA Women’s Leadership Symposium (Indianapolis Committee) and Tiffin University’s Inaugural Women’s Leadership Symposium.  She is a member and active volunteer at Victory Church and assists others in the community with strategic management initiatives. A native of Fremont, Ohio, graduate of Fremont Ross and Vanguard Technical Career Center, Chari has earned several degrees including: Associates of Arts & Social Science from Terra Community College, Bachelors of Criminal Justice, and Masters of Business Administration from Tiffin University.

James Conley is native of Fremont, Ohio and graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  He has over 35 years of manufacturing leadership and supply chain knowledge and experience. Currently, James is the Quality Assurance Supervisor (QAS) at Rexam; which is the number two can maker in the United States.   He holds certifications in ISO 9000 and Dale Carnegie Trainings in Leadership & Development.  He is passionate about physical fitness and is a member of Jazzercise and Body Lines.  James actively supports the Humane Society.          


Secretary/Treasurer :: Brandi Fahncke
Investigative Agent, West Central Ohio Network 

Brandi R. Fahncke is a Tiffin University graduate. She earned her Associate's Degree in Technical Studies from James A. Rhodes State College. From there she moved on to Tiffin University's Degree Completion Program where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. Brandi began her career working for Tiffin University's satellite campus in Lima, OH as an Administrative Assistant. Upon completing her Bachelor's Degree, she moved to Toledo, OH where she began working as a Coordinator for Tiffin University's Degree Completion Program. While working for Tiffin University Brandi started her Master's Degree in Justice Administration. She continued to work for Tiffin University over a 5 year duration and later in her professional career she became the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions. Brandi ended up relocating to Tiffin, OH where she ended her professional career with Tiffin University, and completed her Master of Science in Criminal Justice Degree with concentrations in Justice Administration and Criminal Behavior. Brandi again relocated back to her hometown of Wapakoneta, OH where she accepted a position as an Intake Investigator for Shelby Co. Children Services. Brandi spent 2 years with Children Services where she became knowledgeable in investigations, Adult Protective Services (APS), Foster Care and Adoption. She worked closely with law enforcement, juvenile court, counseling centers and victim services. Brandi eventually decided to move onto something more challenging. She became employed at the Allen Co. Board of Developmental Disabilities in 2011 where she became the Children's Service & Support Associate (SSA). Brandi began working with children between the ages of 3 - 22 years of age. She completed intake, eligibility and created Individual Services Plans (ISPs) for children. Brandi worked very closely with families, Marimor School, the public schools, juvenile court and probation, Children Services and the Family & Children First Council (FCFC). Eventually this career path lead her down another direction. Brandi continued to be passionate in investigative work, so in August 2013 she accepted a position with the West Central Ohio Network (WestCON) as an Investigative Agent. Brandi currently investigates Major Unusual Incidents (MUIs) for individuals with developmental disabilities. Her primary role is to ensure the Health & Safety of consumers who are receiving services from the County Boards of DD. Brandi currently serves Auglaize, Mercer, Logan and Hardin Counties. 

Brandi has volunteered her time to Kiwanis, KAPOW (Kids, A Priority Of Wapakoneta) and Women's Soroptimist. Currently, she spends her spare time with her husband and 3 young daughters.

Member :: Dr. Gretchen Carroll
VP of Talent Development, Buckeye Cable Systems
College Professor / Organizational Behavior

Dr. Carroll is currently the Senior Manager of Talent and Organizational Development at Buckeye Cable System, an adjunct professor at the University of Findlay, and an attorney. Prior to joining the Buckeye team, she held a variety of positions in higher education and private industry including: Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource management at Tiffin University , Dean of the School of Business at Owens Community College, Leadership Coach for Promedica Health System and Executive Director of a non-profit association. Additionally, she has been actively engaged in numerous organizational development and change initiatives and has provided leadership development and employee engagement training to hundreds of leaders in Northwest Ohio. Her passion is helping people enhance their capacity for excellence so that they can “lead their best life”.   Gretchen has earned several degrees including a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University, an MBA and JD from the University of Toledo, and a doctorate in Leadership Studies from BGSU.


Member :: Cody Brown
Higher Education Professional / Marketing Consultant

Cody Brown is a Bowling Green State University graduate, with a degree in Integrated Social Studies, and an MBA graduate from Tiffin University. Currently, Cody works for Owens Community College as an ABLE Specialist, is an adjunct faculty at Adrian College, and is a substitute teacher in the Sylvania School District. He enjoys working with youth and loves sports. Specifically, all Detroit teams, Manchester United, and the University of Michigan.
